I am a current 5th grade teacher who absolutely loves her job! Working with and teaching kids has always been my passion. I love that "ah-ha!" moment and how amazing is it that I get to experience it each and every day! I have experience teaching K-6 and am comfortable tutoring in any subject: reading, writing, or math. Study skills, test taking strategies, and organization is also essential and comes along with which ever content area we focus on! My students often thank me for the promise I make to each of them on the first day of school: that I will teach the same thing 30 different ways if I have to just to make sure they understand. And I mean that! I can adapt my "tutoring style" to the needs of each learner I work with. It's something I already do daily for a class of 28.

I am currently pursuing my masters degree in curriculum and instruction and enjoying learning more about different learning styles and teaching skills and strategies. In my "spare time" I enjoy spending time with friends and family, practicing speaking Spanish with my boyfriend, and planning travel opportunities for myself! I am an avid traveler and obsessed with experiencing other countries and cultures.
